How can I order a cake?
You can order online here or give us a call at 512-531-9832.
What information do I need to place the order?
We need to know:
- How many people you’re serving so we can suggest the proper size of cake will be best for your event.
- What flavor cake, filling and frosting you would like? We have a list on our website and below
- Decor! If you have a theme for your celebration, let us know! We can create a fabulous cake! Send us photos for inspiration or even invitations so we can match the theme. We can create cakes that are abstract or very detailed – based on the information you provide.
- Would you like a message written on your cake?
- Date and time for pick up or delivery
How do I pay for a special order?
We can email you an invoice to be paid safely and securely online or you can pay over the phone or in the store. We do require payment in full prior to pick up.
Do you make fondant cakes?
No, we do not work with fondant but can usually recreate a fabulous fondant cake using buttercream.
Do you make sculpted or 3D cakes?
No, but we can create a round, square or sheet cake with detailed piping and pictures using buttercream.
Do you make gluten free cakes and pastries?
Yes! We use an amazing gluten free flour made for us in New Braunfels – it’s fabulous and we can create a variety of gluten free desserts. Let us know what you’re craving. Our bakery is NOT a contained environment so if the gluten allergy is severe, please let us know.
Do you make sugar free cakes or pastries?
At this time, we do not offer any sugar free cakes or desserts but are recipe testing for the future.
Do you make vegan cakes or pastries?
Yes! Just call or email us directly and we can discuss options!
Do you make nut-free cakes or pastries?
Yes! We absolutely have an array of cakes and desserts that are nut-free. Our bakery is not a nut free environment, so please let us know if the allergy is severe.
What kind of frosting do you use on your cakes?
The majority of our cakes and cupcakes are made with our buttercream frosting that is made in house. Our frosting is a “swiss buttercream” made with whipped egg whites (we use fresh from our local free range eggs and pasteurize them ourselves), sugar and unsalted butter. We then add salt, pure vanilla extract and other flavorings, such as, fresh strawberry puree, lemon juice, caramel, melted chocolate and more to create a light and fluffy frosting with tons of flavor!
It is best served at room temperature so let your cake sit out for a few hours before serving! We also make a cream cheese frosting in house that is rich and creamy and not too sweet.
We use only the best ingredients in our baking and everything is made in house, from scratch. Here’s a list of the main ingredients we use daily: local, free range eggs from Vital Farms – Valrhona chocolates and cocoa powder – Unsalted Butter – Pure vanilla extract – Fresh fruit and vegetables always and local when available – Goat cheese – Gruyere and Sharp Cheddar – Oak Farms heavy cream, whole milk and buttermilk.
What kind of cakes do you offer?
Our specialty cakes are 3 layers of cake, with 2 layers of filling and then frosting on the outside. All of our cakes and fillings and frostings are made in house, from scratch, using only the best ingredients. Here is a list of what we offer, but we love a challenge and can create any flavor you desire – just ask!
